Unicaf University at a glance

Unicaf University is a pan-African, independent, internationally accredited university, combining the best elements of international education, offering high quality academic qualifications. 

The University has established state-of-the-art campuses in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe, and is in the process of opening additional campuses in several other African countries very soon. In addition to the Unicaf University campuses, students also have at their disposal the modern facilities of Unicaf learning centres across Africa.

Unicaf University in Malawi is accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), and in Zambia it is accredited by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). Unicaf University campuses in Zambia and Malawi are also accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) as an Independent Higher Education Provider.  Many more accreditations and licenses by national agencies are on the way, in various other African countries. Unicaf University is a member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and a member of the Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA).

Partnerships

Unicaf is currently in partnership with the University of Suffolk (UK), Liverpool John Moores University (UK), the University of East London (UK), the University of California, Riverside Extension (USA), and multi-campus Unicaf University (Africa). Upon successful completion, students receive from the respective awarding body their degree, which is identical to the degree offered to on-campus students. Graduates can also attend the graduation ceremony at the home campus (subject to any visa restrictions that may apply).

with new modules starting every month, (subject to programme demand), students can commence their studies whenever they are ready. By taking one module at a time, students concentrate their focus on a particular topic and explore it in depth. They can also take some time off their studies between modules, (if needed), to attend to a major project at work, or a family matter that requires their attention.

Bachelor, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes, as well as Professional Development short courses, are available in a variety of modern disciplines.
