Unicaf University earns full accreditation by the British Accreditation Council
Unicaf University is proud to announce that it has received full accreditation by the British Accreditation Council for Independent, Further and Higher Education as an Independent Higher Education Institution.
The British Accreditation Council (BAC) is the oldest national independent accrediting body for independent further and Higher Education providers in the UK. BAC is a globally respected organisation, recognised by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and listed on the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). The Council is also a full member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher education (INQAAHE).
Following the successful completion of a series of thorough inspections and audit of Unicaf University’s operations at Federal Headquarters and at the Malawi and Zambia campuses, the University has received full accreditation from the British Accreditation Council, valid through to 2025.
An educational institution can achieve BAC accreditation after being judged against a set of internationally recognised quality standards on:
- Teaching, learning and assessment
- Governance, strategy and financial management
- Academic management and administration
- Student support, guidance, recruitment and progression
- Premises, facilities, and learning resources
- Quality management, assurance and enhancement
The prestigious BAC quality mark indicates that Unicaf University operates in line with and meets published standards and guidelines for quality assurance in Higher Education, which are internationally recognised as a gold standard.
Our students can be assured that they have selected an educational institution that delivers high-quality educational services and has met internationally respected British quality standards. And prospective employers of Unicaf University graduates can rest assured that they are hiring highly qualified talent.
