Unicaf University Essay Competition

Win monetary prizes of up to 200 USD!

Unicaf invites Bachelor degree holders, between the ages of 25 and 45 to participate in the essay competition:

“The pandemic and the advantages of online education”

The winners will receive the following prizes:

First winner: 200 USD

Second winner: 100 USD

Third winner: 50 USD

To participate in the competition, you must write an essay in English with your personal views and creative ideas on the competition’s topic. Please remember that plagiarism is an offence and will lead to your entry being disqualified. All sources of non-original material must be duly credited.

Participants must submit their essays, together with their CV, a copy of their Bachelor degree certificate via email to competition@zimbabwe.unicaf.org before the deadline of the competition on the 30th of April 2021.

RULES FOR THE ESSAY COMPETITION

  • At the top of your entry paper write your name, gender, age, city, email address and telephone number.
  • Add a short version of your CV, with a copy of your Bachelor degree certificate.
  • Your essay must not exceed two A4 typed pages, using size 12 fonts and 1.5 spacing.
  • You should avoid plagiarism and copying unnamed sources. All non-original material must be duly credited, otherwise, the entry will be disqualified from the competition.
  • The Unicaf essay competition is open to all Bachelor degree holders in Zimbabwe, between the ages of 25 and 45.

Once the results are announced, the Unicaf Zimbabwe team will contact the winners of the competition to arrange the delivery of their prizes.
